液晶温度计是自粘温度指示器，即时响应，能够连续读出温度。这些温度计被分为 7 个元件，每个元件对应于其指定的温度范围内 5 摄氏度的增量。每个元件按橙色到黄色（低于规定温度）、绿色（在规定温度）和蓝色（高于规定温度）的顺序变化。液晶温度计提供 30 个摄氏度数，温度范围从 0 至 120°C，非常适合干燥、固化、流程控制或一般温度监测应用。这些温度计是可逆的，当温度下降时，会以相反的顺序改变颜色（蓝色、绿色、黄色、橙色）。

Liquid Crystal Thermometers are calibrated to turn green when the listed temperature is achieved. If green is not visible, the temperature will be midway between the elements that are blue and orange. Elements turn blue when they surpass their listed temperature and orange when they are just below their listed temperature.
